Interesting book about the origins of corn. Love the color use in this book and would recommend for older children 6 and older. It's a bit long for the preschool age.

Frank Asch writes such wonderful stories that grow with children. This book takes place during Halloween so it’s a nice “seasonal” book, but one you’d grab anytime of the year.
